Delicate Armor Care
Delicate armor is meant to be worn every day. Over time little nicks, scratches and signs of love will appear. The unique matte finish of our jewelry will eventually shine creating a beautiful patina. - that is ok!
But if you prefer to keep your jewelry in its original condition; store each piece separately in sealed bag or pouch. Remove jewelry before swimming, gardening, lifting weights or cleaning. Put your jewelry on after any creams, hairspray, oils or perfumes are applied.
To clean, remove oils and brighten your diamonds soak your jewelry for a few hours or overnight in a warm water with a couple drops of dish soap, we recommend Dawn. Gently scrub with a soft toothbrush and wash off the soap with warm water.
NOTE: Do not soak opal or pearl stones.
Sterling Silver: Over time, silver will oxidize. The best way to keep you silver from turning dark with oxidation is to wear it!
To clean your silver without removing the satin finish, use a paste of baking soda and water and rub it over the item in a circular motion with an old toothbrush.
Oxidized silver gradually fades with wear but can be re-oxidized. If you would like your item re-oxidized you may do this free of charge. Email info@vanessalianne.com for more details.
